Sloppy Joe Meat

This macro friendly, high protein sloppy Joe mix is delicious. I served maneuver a white potato. My family used a bun. You could make this low carb by serving over cauliflower rice, zucchini, broccoli or other greens.
Ingredients
1 lb. 99% lean ground turkey (or beef)
1 lb. 93/7 ground turkey (or beef)
1/2 onion, chopped
2 tsp garlic, minced
1/2 red or green pepper, chopped
1 can diced green chilies
1 tsp salt
1 TBSP chili powder
2 TBSP pure maple syrup
2 tsp mustard
2 TBSP Worcestershire sauce
1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
2 TBSP Apple cider vinegar
1/3 cup ketchup (organic)
Directions
Add chopped onion, peppers and garlic to a pan and cook until translucent. Add ground meat and break apart. Cook until done.
Add salt, chili powder, tomato sauce, syrup, Worcestershire sauce, ACV, ketchup, mustard.
Mix until well combined.
Add to buns, over potatoes or over some greens.
We love this and having leftovers too.
